Terms of Service
Last updated September 7, 2026
These terms govern your use of CashDocs — the website, the patient and doctor apps, and the CashDocs Pro portal. By creating an account or booking a visit, you agree to them.
What CashDocs is — and isn't
CashDocs is a marketplace that connects patients with independent, licensed healthcare providers at transparent cash prices. CashDocs is not a medical provider. We don't practice medicine, employ the doctors on the platform, or supervise care. Your doctor is solely responsible for the care they provide. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 — do not book a visit.
Prices and payment
- The price you see when booking is the full price of the visit. No insurance is involved and no balance bill follows.
- When you book, your card is authorized but not charged. You are charged only when the doctor confirms the visit.
- If the doctor declines or doesn't confirm, the hold is released and you pay nothing.
- Mid-visit extensions, where offered, are priced up front and charged only if you accept them.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Receipts suitable for HSA/FSA reimbursement are available in your account, but whether your plan reimburses is between you and your plan.
Cancellations
- Cancel more than 24 hours before a visit: free, full refund of anything captured.
- Cancel within 24 hours: a late-cancellation fee applies and the remainder is refunded. The fee exists because the doctor held that time for you.
- Doctors may cancel or decline; you are never charged for a visit that doesn't get confirmed.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information.
- You're responsible for what happens under your login. Tell us immediately if you think your account is compromised.
- Reviews must reflect a visit you actually had. We remove spam and abuse; honest criticism stays.
Text messages (SMS)
CashDocs sends transactional text messages about visits you book. These are sign-in codes and appointment updates — confirmation when a doctor accepts your booking, notice when a doctor cannot take the visit, and cancellation or refund notices. We send no marketing, promotional, or recurring texts.
- You opt in by entering your mobile number on the CashDocs phone sign-in screen or in your account profile, where this consent language appears beneath the field. Consent is not a condition of purchase — you can book and pay without giving a mobile number, and email carries the same information.
- Message frequency varies; a typical patient receives a few messages per booking.
- Msg & data rates may apply. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to stop them immediately, or HELP for help. You can also remove your mobile number in your account profile, or email support@cashdocs.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. Phone numbers are given to our SMS provider for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you asked for. See our Privacy Policy and the full text message program terms.
For providers
- You must hold and maintain the licenses you present. Credentialing is verified before you can accept bookings, and misrepresentation ends the relationship.
- Confirming a booking charges the patient and commits the time. Payouts are made through Stripe after the platform fee, on the schedule shown in your Earnings page.
- You are an independent professional, not an employee, agent, or partner of CashDocs.
- Platform-only pricing. The prices you set on CashDocs are a separate, CashDocs-exclusive fee schedule for visits booked and paid through CashDocs. They are not your usual and customary charges, do not amend any fee schedule you have with Medicare, Medicaid, or any commercial payer, and are not an offer to accept those amounts from anyone other than a CashDocs patient for a CashDocs visit.
- Your certifications. By applying you certify that your application is accurate and complete; that you hold an active, unrestricted license in the state listed; that every service you list is within your scope of practice; and that you carry malpractice insurance covering those services. Your typed name on the application is your electronic signature and is binding.
- Changes made on your behalf. CashDocs staff may prepare a price change at your request, but it takes effect only after you approve it in your portal; that approval is recorded with your login, the time, and the network address.
- Adjustments. Where a visit did not take place as booked (a dropped call, a service failure, or a refund issued to a patient under these Terms), CashDocs may reverse the corresponding payout or debit your connected payout account for that amount, with the reason recorded in your Earnings page.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the platform: no scraping, no probing our systems, no harassing doctors or patients, no booking visits you don't intend to keep. We can suspend accounts that do.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent the law allows, CashDocs disclaims warranties and is not liable for the care provided by doctors on the platform, or for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid CashDocs in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Disputes
Start with us — support@cashdocs.com resolves most billing issues quickly, and every ticket can be tied to the exact visit it's about. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in the product, and the date above always reflects the current version. Continuing to use CashDocs after a change means you accept it.
